Just One More Dungeon Floor, I Promise It'll Be Better This Time

"Just One More Dungeon Floor, I Promise It'll Be Better This Time" is a minimalist top-down dungeon crawler. You have an active party of five characters, with the main goal of reaching the 97th floor and defeating the boss that waits there.

The graphics are simple to not get in the way of one's imagination. And also because I'm no artist.

This game has random encounters, equipment durability, no healing or dungeon navigation skills, and a hunger mechanic. If you think this game isn't for you, you're probably right. If you are patient, then you might actually enjoy this.


Tips and tricks:

Each floor is on a 100x100 grid. The "Diviner" Key Item lets you see what your coordinates are.

SP determines how fast one acts. Most equipment lowers this number.

PD and MD are the percentage of Physical and Magical damage taken. The lower the number, the better.

You can only hold 100 pieces of equipment and 100 consumable items. You can have characters you aren't using hold equipment even if they aren't in the active party, but you can't switch to them if you aren't on Floor 00.

When a character is at 0 AP (Appetite Points), they take a large penalty to their stats. The cap is always 100, and the current amount decays each turn in battle and every so often as you move around the Dungeon.

When a character has a food/drink of their favored type, they gain a SP bonus, but they also slowly gain AP instead of losing it for a while. Consuming any food/drink prevents AP from falling for a while.

Using a weapon's attack lowers its durability. Taking damage lowers a random equipped armor piece's durability, unless the enemy has some way to target a specific spot.

There are 9 Math Puzzles. Math Puzzle 3 might be the most important one for convenience.

You can save at any time outside of battle. There's no autosave, so save early and often.
