Have-Nots Unforgiving is a short game about trying to get by as a hero in a world where you lack the resources to do so.
The King in this land has no interest in giving you actual money. Instead there's tokens, which you can gamble with. Because of course the rich have no interest in giving out a currency that has value outside of being something they can control the value/supply of themselves.
There is a large amount of items in the game, of limited usefulness. Some small solace is that even your foes will have bought into this system.
Developed as part of the Briefs series, a gold extra project with additional support by Strange Scaffold.

You love your absurd rpgmaker games, don't you Damien?
Also I can't help but notice the similarities between the loot and NFTs...
To be fair the theme for the microgrant was "absurd" but also yes, the message was supposed to be "what if modern-day speculative finance was to be applied to a fantasy setting; gosh that'd suck, huh" and I hope it did get across.
